Kinomiya Shrine

A famous ancient shrine representing Atami, known for its 2000-year-old sacred camphor tree. Enjoy sweets at the tearoom in the grounds, and the illumination at night is also attractive.

Atami Plum Garden

A park famous for the earliest-blooming plum blossoms in Japan. You can enjoy seasonal attractions throughout the year, including the plum festival from January to March and autumn foliage.

ACAO FOREST

A healing garden with seasonal flowers and herbs blooming on vast grounds. Also popular as a scenic spot overlooking the sea of Atami.

MOA Museum of Art

The MOA Museum of Art houses numerous masterpieces, centred on ancient art from Japan and Asia. In particular, it displays works designated as National Treasures and Important Cultural Properties, making it a valuable place to deeply understand Japanese art culture. The museum building itself is designed in a unique architectural style, making it worth visiting.

Atami Ropeway

Atami Ropeway is a convenient means of transport that takes about 3 minutes from the centre of Atami to the observation deck. At the observation deck, you can easily enjoy beautiful views of Atami's cityscape and coastline. There is also a café that serves delicious coffee and ice cream.

Atami Sun Beach

Atami Sun Beach features a 400-metre-long sandy beach lined with palm trees. It is the most popular beach in Atami City and is crowded with many families and young people during the summer. It has an overseas resort-like atmosphere during the day, and at night, the beach is illuminated, making it ideal for strolls and walking. Atami Sea Fireworks Display is held throughout the year.

Hakone Shrine

A historic shrine surrounded by Hakone's nature. Famous as one of Hakone's three major power spots along with Kuzuryu Shrine and Hakone Motomiya. It is especially crowded with many worshippers during events such as New Year and Setsubun.

Hakone Ropeway Togendai Station

Mt. Omuro
