The Moon and Sun (called 'Tukito Taiyou' in Japanese) is a private rental villa with a Finnish sauna and natural hot spring.
Located in Atami, in the centre of Japan island, only 45 minutes by Shinkansen (a bullet train) from Tokyo and 20 minutes by car from Atami Station.
In order to pamper your mind and body in the heart of nature, we offer 4 different villas to accommodate everyone from couples and families to large groups, each featuring completely private areas with hot springs, saunas, and BBQ.

Enjoy a fully private Finnish sauna and Atami's natural hot spring in each villa, perfect for a luxurious wellness experience. In collaboration with Artemis Herbal Shop, we also offer refreshing original sauna scents.

Each villa is located in a hill with breathtaking views of Atami Bay. You can enjoy the famous Atami Fireworks displayed from the Moon and Sun BASE ATAMI. At the Moon and Sun HANABI, you can catch a distant view as well.

Access
The Moon and Sun is located in Atami, in the centre of Japan island, only 45 minutes by Shinkansen (a bullet train) from Tokyo and 20 minutes by car/taxi from Atami Station. Check-in is at Forest Cafe in Atami Nature Forest . You will receive a pre-check-in email the day before or on the day of arrival.
- Tokyo Station → (Tokaido Shinkansen Hikari (a bullet train) approx. 45 min) → Atami Station
- Shin-Osaka Station → (Tokaido Shinkansen Hikari (a bullet train) approx. 2 hours) → Atami Station
- From Tokyo: About 1 hour from Atsugi I.C. on the Tomei Expressway.
- From Osaka: About 1 hour from Nagoya/Numazu I.C. on the Shin-Tomei or Tomei Expressway.
